Subject: Together we can tip the balance
Thank you for signing the petition, adding your voice to the chorus calling out to protect the environment, respect Indigenous rights, safeguard communities and the water from toxic spills, and prevent runaway climate change.
Now that you know how easy it is – and how important it is – you need to get your family, friends, and coworkers to sign as well. We have to get enough names on the petition to convince the Dirty Dozen banks that funding pipeline construction will cost them more in public relations than it will make them in corporate profit.
If people around the world ask their banks to commit to NOT fund these pipelines, we can tip the balance on these toxic projects and stop these new pipelines for good. Please ask everyone you know, whether they’re Greenpeace members or concerned individuals who don’t like having the environment held hostage to corporate profits. We can succeed… together.
